‘The god of small things’ by Arundati Roy

the god of small things

I really enjoyed reading ‘The god of Small Things’ by Arundati Roy. A master of language, Arundati makes you smell, taste, hear and feel the atmosphere in which this tragic love story unfolds.

The pace of the action is useful to observe. Now fast, now slow. It’s like a dance, a dream – and yet if you’ve ever been to India, and to certain places in India, namely Kerala or Goa, you’ll most likely be able to relate.
